    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is a round-robin schedule?
In a round-robin tournament every team plays every other team the same number of times. This produces the fairest standings because performance against all opponents counts equally — no team is eliminated from contention by a single bad result.
How many games will each team play?
With n teams and r rounds, each team plays (n − 1) × r games. For example, 8 teams playing a single round-robin each play 7 games; a double round-robin gives 14. The generator shows the exact game count before you export.
Can I export the schedule to Google Calendar or iCal?
Yes. Once your schedule is generated you can download a standard .ics iCal file from the Export step. Any calendar app that supports iCal — Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook — can import it in seconds.
What sports does this work for?
Any sport with a fixed game duration and venue-based play: soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball, volleyball, softball, tennis, cricket, rugby, and more. The scheduler treats games as time-slotted events, so the sport itself doesn't matter.
What are venue constraints and rest-day rules?
Venue constraints limit which time slots are available for games at each location. Rest-day rules set the minimum number of calendar days between a team's games to prevent back-to-back scheduling. Both are configurable in the Constraints step.
Is this free? Do I need an account?
Completely free, no account or sign-up required. Your schedule data is saved locally in your browser. Use the Share link in the Export step to send a copy to co-organizers.
